Make your next STI test as easy as a trip to the mechanic for a rego check!

Staying on top of our sexual health is something we all know we need to do, but it’s often put in the too-hard basket because it can be a bit embarrassing and uncomfortable.

Australian men’s health start-up, has launched a new online STI test, which makes it faster and more convenient for Aussie men to regularly make sure they’re in the clear.

After receiving requests from hundreds of existing patients already using the Pilot tele-health site, the company has built an innovative STI testing platform.

The test can be purchased online at the website and takes advantage of thousands of local collection centres all over Australia. Within one to two days, results are securely sent to the patient’s phone.

“Take the stress out of STI testing,” saysPilot Health co-founder, Charlie Gearside.

Launched in 2019, has treated tens of thousands of Australian men for ED (erectile dysfunction) and PE (premature ejaculation), among other stigmatised health issues. It is now branching into preventative aspects of healthcare.

Charlie Gearside, one of Pilot’s founders, says the vision was to make health tests a regular part of a healthcare upkeep.

“Taking the stress out of STI testing is going to make staying on top of your health more like going to the mechanic for a rego check,” says Gearside.

“The goal is to make things seamless – a pleasure to use, cost-effective and shame-free”.
