Terms and Conditions of Sale

DNA is mailed from Sydney, Australia via Australia Post for Australian recipients, and via airmail with Australia Post for all international deliveries.

Australian shipping times:-

  • Please allow up to 21 business days for Australian orders to be delivered as Australia Post do, unfortunately, experience unexplained delays. On average though, your order should arrive within 5 business days.

International shipping times:-

  • Please allow at least 28 business days for international deliveries to arrive, particularly to the US where Homeland Security delays are very common. Delays are also common during the busy Christmas holiday period. Canada Post is very slow at all times of the year.

If your order hasn’t arrived after these estimated shipping times have passed, before contacting us, please check first with your local post office as they may be holding your parcel, especially if it does not fit into your mailbox.

Shipping times vary and are out of DNA’s control. Refunds are not issued for delayed deliveries.

In order to keep shipping costs as low as possible for all of our customers, most orders are sent without tracking. Orders weighing 500g or more, however, are usually sent with tracking.

If an item(s) does not arrive, and it was addressed correctly, then we will usually re-send it once, free of charge. In the extremely unlikely event (less than 0.02% of all orders shipped by DNA) an item does not arrive, then you should lodge a formal complaint with your local postal authority. 

Once shipped, DNA is not responsible for the safe condition and arrival of your order. Please ensure that your postal address is correct and up to date – non-arrival of mis-addressed orders is not the responsibility of DNA.

If an order is returned to DNA as undeliverable, for whatever reason, the initial shipping cost, and any return shipping cost, will be deducted from the amount you paid. If a refund is required, the balance remaining (if any) will be either credited back to the same credit card initially used, or a DNAstore credit issued.

Whilst DNA does not contain full nudity, some countries may ban the sale of gay magazines. Please ensure that your country allows for the importation of DNA as DNA will not be responsible for the confiscation by a government customs/import agency.

Some countries may impose a customs duty and/or Goods and Services Tax if orders exceed a certain value. Although this is very rare, any such charges are borne by you. If in doubt, please check with your local government authority.


Sometimes you may not always be completely satisfied with your purchase, and in some instances may need to either cancel a subscription or return a product to us. With this in mind we have done our best to make the process as fair, easy and convenient as possible.

Non defective items – Products^ can usually be returned for replacement or a DNAstore credit if they are received back by DNAstore within 28 days of initial receipt.

If YOU cancel an order, in part or full, that you have already paid for then we will provide you with a DNAstore credit for the full amount paid. If you paid by credit card and would prefer a refund^^ then a $5 cancellation fee will apply to cover the processing costs we have incurred in the placement and cancellation of your order.

^Back Issues, issues of Back Issues viewed Online or Digitally, issues of a subscription already sent, issues of a subscription already viewed online or digitally and all other Online Products (eg: Digital and Online Edition and Website Only Subscriptions) cannot be full or partially refunded once viewed (whether partially or fully viewed). Monthly recurring Digital and monthly recurring Website only subscritpions cannot be refunded once charged as the $5 cancellation fee will not cover the actual amount paid.

Promotional products supplied cannot be returned.

Unless the returned product is defective or an item was shipped to you in error, you will be responsible for both the return and the original shipping charges.


If you cancel a print subscription, we will provide you with a DNAstore credit for:

  • the amount you paid for the subscription;
  • LESS the number of issues already shipped and/or viewed Online, at the DNAstore retail single issue price per issue + the applicable shipping cost;
  • LESS the RRP of any promotional product (whether originally supplied to you as a “free offer” or at a discounted price) you received as part of your subscription eg: DNA Annual Calendar.

If you paid by credit card and would prefer a refund^^ then a $5 cancellation fee will apply to cover the processing costs we have incurred in the placement and cancellation of your order.


  • Monthly Recurring Print Subscriptions:

After your second issue’s payment has been processed, you can cancel at any time before your next monthly renewal is processed either in MySubscription or by contacting DNA.

  • Annual Recurring Print Subscriptions:

You can cancel an Annual recurring Print subscription at anytime before your automatic renewal is processed. If you cancel a recurring Print Subscription, you will receive all of the print issues of DNA that you’ve paid for. You can cancel your subscription either in MySubscription or by contacting DNA.


DNA Digital and Online Editions are provided through our digital provider, Pocketmags. You link your DNA subscription with Pocketmags, either in-app (for Digital Editions) or on the Pocketmags website (for Online Editions).


As a print subscriber, as well as receiving DNA in the mail each month, you receive complimentary access to the DNA Digital and Online Editions under your subscription. If you cancel your print subscription, including a recurring subscription, you will retain any Digital issues already downloaded to the DNA (or Pocketmags) library app, and you will receive the remainder of the Print issues under your subscription, but you will not receive any further Digital issues once your subscription ends.


Refunds are not issued once your first Digital or Online Edition is added to your DNA app / Pocketmags library. If you are unable to access the Digital or Online Editions on your computer or device (eg: you may have an outdated device or operating system) then we will provide a full refund^^ provided we receive your request within seven (7) days of purchase.


We are only able to refund to the same credit card originally used when your purchase was made – we are unable to provide a refund if any other payment method was selected in which case a DNAstore credit will be issued.

Force Majeure

If an Event occurs at any time for a reason or reasons beyond DNA’s reasonable control, including severe weather conditions, acts of God, fire, acts of terrorism or war, strikes, lockouts or other industrial disputes, riots, explosion, or unforeseen governmental restrictions (Force Majeure), DNA will act in good faith and use reasonable endeavours to minimise the impact to the Customer and may:

(a) postpone or cancel production of a single or multiple Print and/or Digital Edition(s) of a subscription until the Event finishes whereby the subscription will resume ensuring the full subscription duration of issues are completed; or
(b) refund all monies paid to DNA by the Customer per the aforementioned DNA Cancellation and Refund Policy.
