Resqme Studio was born on the beach. Founded by two creative directors, one from Sydney, one from Seoul, who are actual surf lifesavers and wanted their swimwear to stay secure through the roughest ocean conditions and look good going into the water and coming out again. Resqme was born at the intersection where the Australian Beach meets Korean design.
One of the new brand’s biggest challenges was sourcing fabrics that would hold their shape through harsh seawater, sun and the chlorine, or the fastest pool laps, and then combine that with the standout Resqme Studio graphic design.
To deliver on those requirements they researched materials from around the world and pushed our suppliers to innovate to their needs. Most of the fabrics and accessories are produced in collaboration with Milan, London and New York suppliers.
The Resqme Studio designs are now starting to be recognised within niche fashion journals, identifying the collection including Italian L’Officiel.
Innovation is one of the brand’s core values. The best-looking swimwear that stays secure through the roughest surf and the fastest laps – they’ve done it!
