Our First Look At Charlie Carver And Isaac Powell In American Horror Story Season 11
The world gets its first look at the upcoming season of American Horror Story in which Charlie Carver and Isaac Powell will be playing lovers. Images have come out from the set showing the two embracing in a sweet kiss, reports Instinct.
WE MAY NOT KNOW MUCH, BUT THERE’S DEFINITELY QUEERNESS AFOOT
The anthology thriller series American Horror Story (AHS) has always had the uncanny ability to feel queer, even when the storylines and characters weren’t. This is a skill that show creator Ryan Murphy has that translates into most of his works whether that be Glee, Ratched, Hollywood or AHS.
One of the more exciting aspects of waiting for the next season is pondering what theme the show will roll with. Being an anthology, each season has brought a new world with new characters often played by returning cast members.
Powell was first in the AHS franchise in season 10 as Troy Lord and will be returning as a character named Theo. Carver hasn’t been in an AHS season before but worked with Murphy on Ratched. Carver will play a character named Adam in the upcoming season, reports Instinct.
The photos from set feature Carver and Powell embracing and kissing so it’s a pretty safe bet to assume they’re a couple.
Joining Charlie Carver and Isaac Powell will be Zachary Quinto, Sandra Bernhard and Patti Lupone – this is gearing up to be one very queer season, reports Them.
