Luke Macfarlane Appreciation Post
Ahead of the film Bros being released in theatres, we decided to have a little stroll down Luke Macfarlane’s Instagram feed to pump ourselves up for his leading man role. The hunky actor is known for his previous roles in Brothers And Sisters and Single All The Way, but his new steamy role has us more excited than ever.
HE’S TOO HOT
For Bros, Macfarlane reports working with an LGBTQIA+ intimacy coordinator to help make the sex scenes with Billy Eichner more realistic, reports Out. This tells us to expect gay sex in a major motion picture very soon and fans couldn’t be more excited that those scenes involve Macfarlane.
Moving to his Instagram feed, we can see in a teaser for Bros a scene where it appears Eichner and Macfarlane are in a foursome and Luke’s getting head.
If you’re wondering how Macfarlane managed to sculpt his muscular physique, the answer lies in his training with former Abercrombie And Fitch model Tyler Lough, reports Variety. “I was doing Brothers And Sisters and it was coming near the end and I thought to myself, ‘Boy, I really want to change what I look like.’ And Tyler helped me with that,” says Macfarlane. We definitely appreciate his efforts.
Not that we needed incentive to craft an appreciation post to this god of a man, but we have to adore his bravery and boldness in coming out during an era where it was not as common among Hollywood actors.
“When I mentioned [coming out] to my agent at the time, what I heard back was, ‘You know you don’t have to do that,’” Macfarlane recalls. “And I was like, ‘Ah, wow. They don’t want me to do this.’ There were not a lot of people that had come out at that point. It was before Neil Patrick Harris. It was before Zachary Quinto and Matt Bomer,” he says.
