“Fire Island” Cast Zane Phillips And Joel Kim Booster Are Back Together On “Loot”
A massive reunion for the Fire Island stars.
Zane Phillips has clearly been spending some quality time at the gym. The thirty-two-year-old actor revealed a significantly more muscular frame during his recent appearance on the Apple TV+ series Loot. This cameo reunites him with Joel Kim Booster. We all remember seeing them share the screen in the 2022 hit film Fire Island.
Booster did not let the moment pass without sharing a tribute on Instagram. He posted about their time on set together.
“The smart and sweet and FUNNY @zanethan is in this episode of LOOT and I’m sorry to report god did all that TO us,” Booster said. “Tune into the Fire Island reunion now on @appletv!”

Catching up on the latest season.
Loot is a comedy series starring Maya Rudolph as Molly Wells. The plot follows a wealthy woman who decides to re-engage with a charitable foundation after splitting from her tech billionaire husband. The third season began airing in mid-October with new episodes dropping weekly. Phillips features in episode eight as a character named Mr. Maro Gold.
Phillips channels his inner rock star.
There is more news from the actor this week. Phillips just released a music video for his track Scorpio (Death Stare). It is part of Retrograde The Musical, which is a new astrology-based project. The creators are building interest by releasing a different song each month to align with the astrology seasons. They plan to release a full album next year to help secure backing for a stage show.
The song is a high-energy mix of dance, metal, and rock. In the video, we see a leather-clad Phillips channeling a moody, emo aesthetic. He joins a list of other vocalists on the project such as Bonnie McKee, Dylan Mulvaney, Matt Rogers, Vincint, and Liisi LaFontaine. Have you had a listen to the track yet?
