In Australia it’s bushfire season. The statistics on this season are grim: at least 15 people have died, millions of acres have burned, and over one thousand homes have been destroyed. And the season has only just begun.
Small communities along the Australian east coast are finding themselves without water or power and living in evacuation centres, but fortunately there is help with the Australian Red Cross providing support.
