Dolly Parton To Release Novel And Accompanying Album, “Run, Rose, Run”

Internationally beloved country-pop star Dolly Parton has written a novel. The book is called Run, Rose, Run and is the story of a young woman as she moves to Nashville to pursue her dream of being a musician and escape her mysterious past, reports The Guardian.
Parton co-wrote this novel with American author James Patterson, known for the Alex Cross series. Patterson has over 200 novels to his name, and although Parton is new to fiction writing, she is a seasoned story-teller herself with 51 studio albums under her belt. The novel is set to be published on March 7, 2022.
Parton will also reportedly write an accompanying album consisting of 12 new tracks based on the characters and situations in Run, Rose, Run. The lyrics from the album will also feature inside the book, reports The Guardian.
Patterson says that reading the novel and listening to the album provides a unique experience. “The mind-blowing thing about this project is that reading the novel is enhanced by listening to the album and vice versa. It’s a really unique experience,” says Patterson.
