Anthony Callea (John Tsiavis)

Anthony Callea’s latest studio album, Forty Love and has been released in celebration of the award-winning singer’s 40th birthday. Callea was first launched to stardom 18 years ago on Australian Idol and has since enjoyed a successful musical career.

The album showcases how far he has come as a performer over that time and reflects who he is today.

“IT IS MY DNA CARVED AND MOULDED INTO MUSIC AND LYRICS”

Anthony Callea was only 22-years-old when he first appeared on Australian television in the second season of Australian Idol. He made it to the finale finishing in second place after Casey Donovan.

Callea has released eight albums, three of which debuted #1 on the ARIA album charts, and performed in countless tours, been aired for TV Concert Specials and toured with Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.

Looking back on the creation of this album, Anthony feels it’s the perfect summation of the journey he has taken to get to where he is; a true reflection of the success and struggle that has formed his artistry.

“This album celebrates my 40 years in this life, yeah, I can’t believe it either?! It feels like nothing else I have ever released, it’s entirely me expressed through music which I am so proud of. It celebrates and appreciates the love and happiness I am fortunate to have, whilst also taking stock of the unpredictability and highs and lows of life. It is my DNA carved and moulded into music and lyrics and I truly hope it resonates with people for its stories and its pop melodies as we all navigate this thing called life! I truly hope you connect with this album as much as I do and can’t wait to see what the next 40 years brings for us all.”
