HE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR THE LIGHT HE BROUGHT TO THE SCREEN

Leslie Jordan will be known by many for his various appearances in shows such as American Horror Story, Call Me Kat and Will And Grace – for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award. Many others may know him better as a social media sensation having blown up in popularity during the pandemic.

Having struggled with alcohol and substance abuse throughout his twenties, Jordan announced he had been sober for 13 years in 2010. Leslie Jordan made concerted efforts during his youth to advocate and aid those suffering from AIDS-related illness. Having lived during the height of the crisis, Jordan was involved with the AIDS Project Los Angeles and volunteered with Project Angel Food, reports The Huffington Post.

After suffering what is expected to be some sort of medical emergency, Jordan crashed against a building at Cahuenga Blvd and Romaine St in the early morning of Monday, October 24. It was reported hours later that Jordan, 67, had died.
