Adult Film Star Sergeant Miles Charged And Sentenced For Involvement In January 06
The arrest and subsequent sentencing of Steven Miles (aka Sergeant Miles) shows that people who can do terrible things can come from all walks of life; including from the adult entertainment world.
Miles was arrested on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 and charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers, civil disorder, and engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds with a dangerous weapon during the Capitol Hill insurrection on January 6, 2021, when Donald Trump’s supporters attempted to overthrow democracy in the USA.
Well, if it isn’t the consequences of his own actions
Under the stage name Sergeant Miles, the now-felonious Steven Miles performed in dozens of male-on-male, bisexual, and trans adult films. He has told fans he identifies as bisexual. His videos helped nominate him seven times for the GayVN awards.
Since his days creating gay adult content, Miles has reportedly become a member of the right wing neo-Nazi group Proud Boys. As an avid supporter of Donald Trump, he has been depicted in a photo wearing a black shirt reading “Trump 2020 F*** Your Feelings” and a “Make America Great Again” red hat.
Miles was part of a group that approached the Capitol and engaged in a confrontation with police, shoving and attempting to punch officers. This altercation has led to Miles being sentenced to two years in prison followed by another year of supervised release after he pleaded guilty.
Miles joins other LGBTQIA+ individuals facing legal consequences for their roles in the insurrection. Trans former militia member Jessica Watkins is charged with sedition, while gay media personality Brandon Straka received house arrest, probation, and a fine.
Since the insurrection, more than 1,313 individuals have been charged nationwide for involvement in the insurrection.
