Why We Love Cheyenne Jackson
Our first few introductions to Cheyenne Jackson were in the mid-2000s where he had guest appearances on All My Children, Lipstick Jungle and Ugly Betty. Jackson is one of the rare celebrities who never really had a coming out in a public way; rather he just existed as openly gay.
His tenure with Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story series has helped launch him further into the mainstream with notable appearances in both theatre, TV and film.
HE’S A GIVER
Cheyenne Jackson is an avid LGBTQIA+ advocate and an ambassador for The Foundation For AIDS Research. Jackson has participated as a celebrity guest at their annual TWO X TWO for AIDS event. Other charity works include being a spokesperson and ambassador for the ASPCA, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
A FAMILY MAN
Cheyenne Jackson married his husband Jason Landau in 2014 while he was in recovery for an alcohol addiction. In 2016, the couple welcomed twins Ethan and Willow to their family and been devoting themselves to raising the children, reports Queerty.
Together in 2022, the couple soft-launched their production company Shiny Boy Entertainment with the film Brutal, reports Variety. Jackson being a loving father and husband adds to his appeal as an LGBTQIA+ role model.
There’s plenty of reasons to love Jackson, too many for one simple list. But let’s be very real, he’s talented, devoted and gorgeous. That list alone is enough to warrant this appreciation post.
