Update: On Tuesday, February 27, New South Wales Police Commissioner Karen Webb reported that two bodies have been discovered during the search for missing persons Jesse Baird and Luke Davies. Detectives discovered the remains on a property at Bungonia near Goulburn.

Commissioner Webb says: “This afternoon, detectives attached to Strike Force Ashfordby have located a second crime scene in Bungonia, which is a separate location to the scene that they had been searching yesterday and earlier, and at that location, we believe we have located two bodies. The families have been informed and crime scene detectives have just arrived on scene at that location now.”

Police are gravely concerned for the well-being of former Channel 10 presenter Jesse Baird (29) and his partner Luke Davies (26) after they discovered a “significant amount of blood” at Baird’s Paddington home, reports News.com.

Lead investigators say there were signs of a struggle in Baird’s home with enough blood to suspect a possible fatality. The search has extended now to a third person of interest who police hope can shed light on the disappearance of the couple.

Alleged stalker now wanted for questioning by police

CCTV shows Baird and Davies walking back to the house on Monday, February 19, which is the last time the two were spotted. Neighbours report hearing a verbal argument coming from the house that day and when authorities went to investigate they the discovered blood and furniture moved.

After speaking to the families of both men, detectives are now working under the assumption that both men are missing and may have met foul play. Bloodied clothing belonging to Mr Davies and another man were found in a skip bin on Wednesday, February 21. Loved ones of Mr Baird allege that he raised concerns with them about an ex-partner who worked for the police. He allegedly told them he was being stalked.

According to ABC News, NSW Police officer Beau Lamarre is in custody after authorities secured a search warrant for his home in relation to the disappearances. He presented himself at Bondi Police station on Friday, February 23.

Friends of Mr Baird and Mr Davies say the couple had been together for a few months and pictures from their Instagram accounts confirm they attended a Pink concert together and have been snapped on a wine tour.

Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Waverley Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
