Some Of The Best Spicy, Spooky And Suggestive Halloween Costumes 2022
The LGBTQIA+ community loves to get behind a theme, and Halloween is the perfect annual opportunity for the gays to go wild. Whether your flavour is spooky, campy, saucy or funny, Halloween is the one night a year you can have it all.
This year, we checked in with a few of our favourite gay and queer celebs to see how they chose to dress up (or down).
I’M SEEING A TREND HERE
It would be incorrect to say that all gays enjoy dressing up the same way on Halloween. Just like the queer community itself, costumes run the gamut from scary scream queens to raunchy cowboys and we love them all!
You can’t go wrong with a spicy twist on a classic costume – social media influencer Matthew Crawford chose the Playboy bunny as his costume this year and we imagine it was a smash hit.
If you’re a couple and enjoy hero-play, there’s a wide world of cosplaying options that are sure to delight. Skin-tight Spider Man suits have been a particularly popular choice this year for both straight and queer people.
Polo Morin may not have been dressed as a firefighter for Halloween (rather, it was a role on High Heat), but it’s certainly an incredible idea for anyone who is feeling a little fiery this year.
Of course, Halloween can also be fun and family-friendly. Neil Patrick Harris certainly chose that route dressing as iconic US fast-food chains with his family.
Social media influencer Griffin Maxwell Brooks spared no details when it came to pulling off their Halloween costume. Firstly with iconic Julia Fox looks and secondly as a “cow-they/them” (like a cowboy/cowgirl but without gender).
Whatever you chose to dress as this year, we hope you were safe, had fun and got lots of treats!
