Pride Adelaide March Set To Return On Saturday November 5

Running since 2003, Pride Adelaide March is back this year to highlight the strength, diversity and courage of Adelaide’s LGBTQIA+ community.

The LGBTQIA+ Pride March kicks off Saturday, November 5 where thousands of queer folks will take to the streets to demonstrate queer identity, history, culture, diversity, solidarity, inclusiveness, and creativity.

Adelaide first celebrated an LGBTQIA+ march in 1973 and has hosted one consistently since 2003. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Pride Adelaide wasn’t able to coordinate marches from 2019. This year will the triumphant return of the Pride March and is open to all individuals, groups and families.

The Pride Adelaide March will gather at 5:30pm at Wauwi / Light Square on Saturday, November 5 with the march beginning at 6:30pm towards Tarntanyangga / Victoria Square. The distance is about 1.3km and is accessible for wheelchair users, cars and motorcycles.
