Nicholas Galitzine has taken the entertainment world by storm. He first gained attention in 2014 with his role in The Beat Beneath My Feet, starring alongside Luke Perry and even contributing to the film’s soundtrack.

Since then, Galitzine has become a household name, particularly within the LGBTQIA+ community. We swooned at his Prince Charming in Cinderella. In Handsome Devil he played a closeted rugby player. In Red, White And Royal Blue he played another prince, this time a gay one who is in love with the gay son of the US president. He played a gay blackmailer in Legends, and a bisexual teenager in The Craft: Legacy. Most recently it is in Mary And George, where again playing a gay role, he seduces the king of England to satisfy his quest for power.

Despite his undeniable good looks, the 29-year-old English actor finds it challenging to discuss his own appearance. In a recent interview with British GQ, writer Xuanlin Tham attempted to broach the subject, but Galitzine deflected any compliments about his beauty.

Comparing Himself to Co-Star Taylor Zakhar Perez

When asked about his thoughts on his appearance, Galitzine instead praised his close friend and Red, White And Royal Blue co-star, Taylor Zakhar Perez. He described Perez as an “Adonis,” admitting that being compared to him was difficult at times.

Galitzine also opened up about his past insecurities, including his sunken eyes, which prompted social media users to tell him to get more sleep, as well as his “rugby-player thighs” and “big ass”. However, he emphasised that his primary goal is to be taken seriously as a performer and not be reduced to a piece of meat at a market.
