Moving On After His Divorce, Lukas Gage Jokes About New Romance With Archie Madekwe
It has been four months since The White Lotus actor Lukas Gage announced his divorce from ex-partner Chris Appleton. Gage sparked dating rumours while attending a Vanity Fair event with Saltburn’s Archie Madekwe where he cheekily referred to him as “my new husband”.

Gage’s romantic life has been tumultuous with his wedding to Chris Appleton airing on The Kardashians only one day before the announcement of his divorce. The couple had announced their relationship via Drew Barrymore’s talk show one month before they were wed in a private ceremony.
Following this split, Gage sent tongues wagging after affectionately referring to Madekwe as his “new husband” after being spotted walking into an event together. The two would make an attractive couple, but Gage spoke to TMZ to shut down any rumours he inadvertently started.
The reporter who caught Gage out following his Vanity Fair appearance asked whether the two were a couple to which the actor denied any relationship. “Yeah, Archie’s the best. You know I’ll take it as a compliment, Archie’s a hottie. But nah, he’s a friend,” says Gage.
The TMZ reporter then asked about dating apps and whether Gage was finding any luck with them. “I’m taking a break from all of them; they’re not for me right now. Right now I’m finding myself and I’m dating me,” he says.
