The Pack is an adventurous, trailblazing underwear, swimwear and partywear brand. As well as striking new styles and designs, The Pack are passionate advocates for the queer community.
“We’re more powerful together than apart,” says brand co-founder, Rheece Reynolds. “To us, The Pack embodies a newly energised and passionate force of LGBTQIA+ people that are calling attention to the most urgent opportunities for change – and making that change a reality.”
Born in Shanghai in 2019, The Pack is the gayby of Reynolds and Thijs van Herten, a tenacious couple who envision The Pack as a creative force for acceptance, freedom and love. Not just a reference to hot daddies or beautiful bulges, The Pack’s name was inspired by wolves, say Rheece and Thijs. Fierce and beautiful, the boys admire that wolves take care of their own and, by instinct, want to belong to something greater than themselves – The Pack.
The boys say the brand understands that sometimes you want to get down and dirty; they know you like to play, and that your underwear is more than just jocks squashed in a bottom drawer. They’re an investment, so The Pack use only the best quality fabrics. Not only is The Pack socially switched on, their stuff makes you look and feel sexy AF.
“The Pack gear focuses on form and function,” says van Herten. “Our inspirations are crafted to enhance every aspect – from body conscious prints that emphasise your goods, to functional zoned fabrics that lift your assets where needed,” he says. “We want The Pack to not only be a sexy/radical underwear brand that you look your best in, but ultimately to be part of the betterment of our queer community,” says Reynolds.
Activists at heart, The Pack envision a world where every member of the LGBTQIA+ family has the freedom to live their truth without fear, and with equality under the law. “Expressing your true self is a lifelong challenge everyone strives toward,” say Reynolds and van Herten, “But to be able to fully express our authentic selves we need to speak up, because every voice matters.”
Now that’s a powerful pair of jocks!
