Lil Nas X Continues Soft Launching “Nasarati 2” Dropping Songs On SoundCloud And Pics On Socials
Lil Nas X is soft-launching his highly anticipated mixtape, Nasarati 2, the sequel to his 2018 debut, Nasarati. The two-time Grammy Award winning artist is going back to his roots by exclusively dropping the tracks on SoundCloud, making them unavailable on mainstream streaming platforms like Spotify.
Lil Nas X Produces Hit After Hit
Lil Nas X rose to prominence with his 2019 country rap single Old Town Road– the longest-running number-one song since the US Billboard Hot 100’s 1958 inception, has been sharing new songs every week or so.
The latest additions to the mixtape are Lean On My Body and Trust Me, tracks that have been teased since 2022 through snippets on YouTube and TikTok. These tracks now join previously released songs Right There and Right Again on the Nasarati 2 playlist.
Fans are still eagerly awaiting the drop of other unreleased songs from the Old Town Road rapper, such as a remix of Beyoncé’s Baby Boy and a collaboration with Saucy Santana.
Nas has been open about his struggles with song selection for the mixtape, sharing on Instagram, “Been hoarding music for years smh i hate my relationship with fear of my songs not doing well and perception. I wish I could just release music and not give af.”
