Lil Nas X has, once again, caused a stir with his latest photoshoot, which he shared on Instagram to celebrate his 24th birthday on Easter Sunday. The Industry Baby singer’s photoshoot, titled “hbd thee batty boy”, has received over a million likes on Instagram and 100k on Twitter.
The photoshoot, which is a direct homage to Playboy‘s January 1986 Cover Girls cover, features Nas X on the cover of a fake magazine called Battyboy. The name is a derogatory term for gay men in Jamaican slang and a parody of the iconic Playboy brand, bunny ears included. In the photos, Nas X can be seen glammed out in wigs and high heels while showing off his “ass”ets.
As part of the series of photos, Nas X is also seen enjoying the spread while looking into an open version of the parody magazine.
