“Knock At The Cabin” Receives Promising Reviews From Early Critics
In M Night Shyamalan’s latest film Knock At The Cabin, Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge play gay daddies who take their daughter for a trip to the woods for a vacation. Encountering disaster and terror, the family is forced to make an impossible choice; sacrifice one of them or let the apocalypse happen.
The film’s early critics have come back with praise for Shyamalan’s new project with some claiming it may be the director’s best work to date, reports Out.

If traditional horror films have taught us anything, being gay doesn’t typically bode well for a character. Neither does vacationing in a secluded cabin. Knock At The Cabin is not a traditional horror film though, from all perspectives it seems to be closer to a dark psychological thriller.
Starring Glee’s Jonathan Groff, Fleabag’s Ben Aldridge and Guardians Of The Galaxy alum Dave Bautista, Knock At The Cabin presents a family’s worst nightmare: what if you had to sacrifice your loved ones to save the world? In this narrative, Groff and Aldridge are forced to face that exact dilemma. M Night Shyamalan has most likely put his own unique spin on the thriller genre, and from critic reviews it has paid off.
According to Out, critics have called this one of Shyamalan’s best works to date with specific praise for Dave Bautista’s performance and an all-over terrifying watch.
Knock At The Cabin will be in theatres on February 3, 2023.
