Joyce Maynge Encourages Everyone To Get Jabbed In “Vax-A-Nation”
Who doesn’t love humour with a heart? Joyce Maynge has delivered exactly that with a light-hearted YouTube video which not-so-subtly encourages people to roll-up their sleeves to get the Covid vaccination.
The video titled Joyce’s Vax-A-Nation takes the fear out of getting vaccinated. It’s a simple yet effective message dressed up in the campery of drag, fabulous wigs and Joyce’s own unique style.
Joyce spoke with DNA and said, “I’m totally vaxxed to max and excited for a new chapter. I’ve been baking my way through lockdown generally using kilos of carrots. Most of my cakes are heavier than lead but they are tasty. Who knows, I might even start a cooking show using all the skills learnt in the last few months.”
With lockdown still being the reality for many Australians, Joyce’s contribution to fighting the lockdown blues is to try and have fun with the time you have. Baking is one such suggestion, another is turning to entertainment, or colouring in!
Joyce has released a colouring book! “On the entertainment front, I’ve pivoted and I’m hosting lots of corporate bingo and trivia which is a hoot! I just released a colouring in book titled Colouring In With Joyce Maynge which was a bit of fun.
“I’ve kept the creative juices flowing with some camp projects so watch this space for something soon. I’m looking forward to performing in front of people and the sound of laughter and screaming fans from a live audience.The colouring in book is a free lockdown resource for everyone to develop their colouring in skills. Lockdown Mayngey mindfulness keeping positive and creative at the same time,” said the drag queen.
