“I’m Gay B*tch…” – Anthony Bowens Shuts Down Haters
There’s nowhere better to be than X if you’re looking for online beef. AEW wrestler Anthony Bowens provided the perfect example of this when he decided to shut down some haters who began to get a little too rowdy in their replies.
“IM GAY BITCH”
Taking a little foray into the world of professional wrestling, the drama and showmanship of the sport attracts a passionate and excitable group of people. Anthony Bowens is one such wrestler that we’ve had our eyes on for years. He’s talented, gay and a riot of fun making up one third of the group The Acclaimed.
One of Bowens’ signature catchphrases is “scissor me daddy” which is a real crowd pleaser. Although the young wrestler has a dedicated fanbase, he also has his equal share of haters. Two such haters led to the impetus of Bowens’ now iconic line, “I’m gay bitch”.
After showing support for fellow wrestler Hook by tweeting “GO HOOK” before his fight with Samoa Joe, an X user quote-tweeted Bowens saying, “So the whole aew roaster is dick rideing Tony khan [sic].”
Bowens replied saying, “Hook is one of my best friends. Go away!” Another user responded to the comment saying, “Nobody knows you.”
The interaction that follows is when the real fun begins. In reply to being told, “nobody knows you,” Bowens wrote back: “That’s the best you can come up with to try and insult me?! DO BETTER MOOKIE. I’ll give ya another chance if you want.”
The other user named Jay messes up when they say: “Bro no one knows u and no one will ever will know u… go home with your kids and go scissor your wife or something.” Fans of Bowens know he’s gay. And hence we have this iconic line: “IM GAY BITCH.”
He devoured I fear. No crumbs were left. Fans are now calling for T-shirts to be made.
