UPDATE: Just A Man has reached #39 on the US iTunes chart and the video has over 200K views. Talking to DNA, Greg says: “Steve, Rob and I have all received a huge outpour of support about the song and the video. A lot of men and women have told us they have either been through something similar or are experiencing it now, and the song makes them feel seen and heard and less alone, which means so much to all of us.” Greg Gould has a new song, Come Home, also out now.

Just A Man is a new track by Greg Gould and it’s a soulful anthem about feeling inadequate and finding hope.

Gould has just dropped a powerful music video to visualise the song, featuring Steve Pennells and Rob Goddard. The single is the latest from Gould’s forthcoming original album Strings Attached, which focusses on the LGBTQIA+ community and our struggle to find acceptance and love.

“I’m Just A Man, And I Do All That I Can…”

Greg burst onto the music scene when he competed on Australia’s Got Talent in 2013, ultimately landing runner-up. On the back of this success, he has built his career on hard work and dedication, booking tours and selling out shows worldwide. Most recently he performed at Synthony, Sydney WorldPride, Chillout Festival and headlined Darwin Pride where his original song Marching On was chosen as the official anthem 2023.

Just A Man allows Greg’s deep vocals to shine through and deliver a powerful song about vulnerability. Touching on notes of loneliness and desperation, the Just A Man video ends on a high note showing that community and togetherness can fulfil you.

Rob Goddard plays a man seemingly at the end of his wits. In the video, we watch as he stumbles through what looks like a truly terrible day (fights with his partner, gets hot coffee spilled on him, shows up late to work and gets yelled at by his boss) and it all leads him to the edge of a literal cliff.

By the end of the song, we see his partner (played by Steve Pennells) comfort and support him as he chooses to come back from the cliff’s edge and the clip gives us hope as he turns his life around. Just A Man is an anthem about struggle, hope and triumph. Stream it on all available major platforms.
