On Wednesday, October 12, popular OnlyFans creator Titus Low was sentenced to three weeks in prison and a fine after a Singaporean court found him guilty of sharing obscene photos and videos online. The creator is the first to be sentenced for this type of indiscretion and is expected to be an example for other OnlyFans creators, reports BBC News.

“I PLAN TO MEDITATE A LOT AND READ…”

Titus Low is a 22-year-old content creator based in Singapore and is often described as the most subscribed-to male OnlyFans content creator in the country. In December 2021, he was arrested by authorities for distributing obscene content online after a report was filed by a man finding Low’s videos in his niece’s phone, reports CNN.

In Singapore, it is illegal to create and profit from obscene materials produced for online distribution. Despite the country’s conservative internet laws, OnlyFans users aren’t uncommon. Titus Low was instructed to remain off the site when on bail but, being the primary source of his income, he did not oblige. Low says that he was prepared to be punished for this and expected prison time. “I plan to meditate a lot and read,” he says.

The court fined Low S$3,000 (AUD3,333.95) and sentenced him to three weeks in jail. Titus Low’s content has a distinctly bisexual theme, which is also taboo in Singapore’s conservative culture. Despite other creators posting in Singapore, many have speculated that his large following and homosexual content might be a reason he was targeted.

Speaking with CNN, the content creator didn’t rule out his return to the platform in the future. “It wouldn’t be fair if the ban stayed. I love what I do and it’s what I’m known for. My nudes are out there already,” he says.
