One of Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras’ flagship events Fair Day has been cancelled this year. The news arrived via announcement from Mardi Gras organisers who report there are asbestos concerns.
The event was set to take place in Victoria Park in Camperdown, where mulch containing bonded asbestos was discovered on Monday, February 12.
