Eurovision Goes To The Netherlands

The Netherlands’ soulful Duncan Laurence has won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019 with his song, Arcade.
It is the first time The Netherlands has won Eurovision in 44 years.
Laurence was the favourite to win from early on in the competition. Italy was voted second with Russia in third place. Australia’s Kate Miller-Hiedke made it to ninth. Voting was completed by a combination of popular votes and industry professionals.
Pop act, Electric Fields delivered Australia’s points live from Sydney during the broadcast. Madonna performed a notably lack-lustre and out-of-tune version of Like A Prayer, and her new song, Future, during the voting break.
