Elton John’s “Epic Dinner” Photo Includes Kit Connor, Andrew Scott And Russell Tovey!

Sir Elton and his husband, David Furnish, recently hosted a gathering that brought together a staggering amount of talent in one room.

A legendary guest list.

The photo, shared by Elton and various guests, shows a lineup that reads like a who’s who of LGBTQIA+ excellence. Sitting around the table were Andrew Scott, Russell Tovey, Ben Whishaw, Kadiff Kirwan, and Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears.

It is rare to see so many heavy hitters in one frame. You have the stage legends, the screen icons, and the music royalty all breaking bread together.

The Rocketman connection runs deep.

While seeing Kit Connor rub shoulders with Andrew Scott is exciting, his connection to the host makes this even more special.

Long before he was Nick Nelson on Heartstopper, Kit played the teenage version of Reggie Dwight (Elton) in the 2019 biopic Rocketman. It was a breakout role that showcased his musical chops and acting range. To see him now, at 21, sitting as a peer at Elton’s table feels like a full-circle moment.

Kit Connor debuts a rugged new look.

We can’t ignore the beard in the room. Kit sported a much fuller, bushier beard than we are used to seeing on the Heartstopper actor.

Fans are already speculating if this is for a new role or just a personal style choice. Either way, he looks a world away from the clean-cut rugby player we first met on Netflix. It’s a reminder that he is growing up and evolving as an actor, and clearly, he has the approval of the Rocket Man himself.

Mentoring the next generation.

Elton John has always been a champion of young talent. From supporting musicians to mentoring actors, he consistently lifts up the next generation of LGBTQIA+ artists.

This dinner wasn’t just a photo op; it was a meeting of minds. Seeing the elder statesmen of the community embracing the new guard is exactly the kind of energy we need in 2026.

With the final Heartstopper film set for release this year, Kit is poised for a massive 2026. And having Elton John in your corner? That is the best endorsement you could ask for.

Elton’s next big date is already locked in.

Away from dinner snaps, Elton has also confirmed he’ll headline Rock In Rio 2026, returning to Brazil for a one-off show on 7 September. He said, “I love my Brazilian fans; they hold such a special place in my heart.”
