“Dude, this guy’s a specimen” — Li Tu gushes over Alcaraz’s impressive muscles.

Carlos Alcaraz, the world No. 3 seed, is not just turning heads with his incredible tennis skills but also with his jaw-dropping physique. At just 21 years old, the Spanish sensation has already claimed four Grand Slam titles and is now gunning for his fifth at the U.S. Open. However, it’s not just his on-court prowess that’s got everyone talking.

After falling to Alcaraz in a grueling four-set match on Tuesday, Australian player Li Tu couldn’t help but rave about his opponent’s impressive muscles. In a post-match interview with ESPN, Tu admitted, “I’m not gonna lie, he came out and he’s in his jacket and I was like, ‘Okay.’ Then we go to the coin toss and he took his jacket off. And I was like, ‘Dude, this guy’s a specimen.'”

Tu’s admiration didn’t stop there. He continued, “From the coin toss, I was like, ‘Okay, this guy’s a beast.’ Like I just couldn’t stop looking at his shoulder definition and the veins. And the forehand says it. He’s got some serious, serious weaponry. So, hat’s off to him.”

Li Tu himself is also quite the “specimen” and although he lost to Alcaraz, he did manage to take a set from him.

But Tu isn’t the only one who’s noticed Alcaraz’s buff body. During a recent exchange, fellow player Nick Kyrgios couldn’t resist complimenting the young star. “Your arms look sensational in that outfit,” Kyrgios quipped, to which Alcaraz replied, “I love to play in sleeveless shirts.” Kyrgios, clearly appreciating the view, simply responded, “I know you do.”

Alcaraz’s impressive physique is no accident. His trainer revealed last year that the hardest part of working with the young athlete was getting him to consume a whopping 4,500 calories a day. “He ate very little. He had the habits of a normal boy, not an athlete,” the trainer admitted. “That’s what cost us the most with him.”

But Alcaraz’s dedication to training and bulking up has clearly paid off. Not only is he dominating on the court, but he’s also turning heads with his ripped body. And let’s be real, who doesn’t love a little eye candy with their tennis?
