Kit Harington Loses Load In Intense “Industry” Season 4 Glory Hole Scene

If you thought Industry had peaked scandal-wise, Season 4 says think again! The financial drama has always thrived on the intersection between power and sex, but the latest episode has delivered a moment that has the internet in a meltdown. We’re talking about Sir Henry Muck, played by Kit Harington (Game Of Thrones), and a very specific encounter in a gay club.

A moment we never knew we needed

In Episode 6, titled Dear Henry, the power dynamics shift dramatically. We see Henry Muck seemingly unravel under the influence of his manipulative co-founder, Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella, The Handmaid’s Tale). After a tension-filled dinner involving expensive alcohol and a broken sobriety streak, the pair head to a club.

What follows is a scene that is raw, sweaty and incredibly charged. Whitney guides Henry to a glory hole. He does not just watch. He encourages him. He strokes Henry’s hair and whispers affirmations while Henry receives oral sex from a stranger. It is a visual feast that blurs the lines between manipulation and liberation.

More than just a fetish

At DNA, we appreciate when a show uses intimacy to drive the plot rather than just for shock value. This scene is not gratuitous. It is a pivotal character moment. Whitney is the puppet master here. He is stripping away Henry’s defences layer by layer.

Kit Harington spoke to Mashable about the intensity of the script. He admitted that reading it on paper made him laugh initially because of how intense it seemed.

“Then you get to the actual scene, and it’s so much more than just a glory hole scene,” Harington said. “It’s about these two characters delving into the most intense and seductive thing they can find in life.”

How the actors handled the heat

The chemistry between Harington and Minghella is undeniable. They sell the complexity of this relationship perfectly. It is messy and it is fascinating.

Max Minghella noted that his understanding of the scene changed after filming. He mentioned that post-production shifted the tone significantly to find the “truth” of his character, Whitney. The voiceover in the episode adds another layer of eeriness as Whitney reads a letter to Henry while orchestrating his downfall.

Why this matters for LGBTQIA+ viewers

This storyline hits hard because it refuses to sanitise the experience. It captures the feral energy of a night out where boundaries dissolve. It is dark and it is dirty. It is also exactly the kind of bold storytelling we crave.

Industry continues to prove it is one of the most exciting shows on television. If you have not caught up on Season 4 yet, you might want to start streaming now.
