On Saturday, February 25, the Mardi Gras Parade and Party were the centrepiece of the WorldPride festivities in Sydney. After two years of covid restrictions that saw a scaled-down Parade circling the Sydney Cricket Ground, this year’s Parade returned to its “spiritual home” on Oxford Street, Darlinghurst.
The post-Parade Pary was also back to scale in the Hordern Pavilion, featuring performances by Swedish pop sensation, Agnes, The Sugababes from the UK and Australia’s own Electric Fields.
