Croatia is the gay hotspot right now and organisers say the country is deserving of an annual festival on par with Mediterranean rivals Barcelona, Mykonos and Tel Aviv.

Considered the top club on the Adriatic Sea, the Noa Beach Club is positioned on the stunning Zrće beach. This multilevel space featuring exotic décor combines dance floors, bars and chill-out areas that will transform into a kaleidoscope of colour as thousands of gay revellers converge on the island.

Organisers promise “unforgettable parties” that will last until dawn. Expect pool parties, celebrities, surprises, explosion of colours, amazing music, large scale art productions and drag shows. In the coming weeks, boat parties will be announced including “XXL”. One of the themed parties is “Pervert” – imagine an open-air fetish soiree!

Industry experts say the festival line-up is impressive for its debut. Over 4 nights, 17 of the hottest DJs in the world will perform at the Rhapsody Festival

Reaching Croatia from all corners of the globe is easy.

The nearest airport to the island of Pag is Zadar, however, Split and Zagreb airports are also options. Pag is easily accessible as the island is connected to the mainland of Croatia by a bridge. Hiring a car or catching bus services is the most popular choice for transportation. There are also several ferry lines to Pag island.

Rhapsody organisers have accommodation packages on offer.

These include private luxury villas with your own pool and terrace with the option of sleeping 4, 5 or 6 people. These villas are on site, have great views of Zrće beach and are within walking distance to the Noa Beach Club. For those who want the comfort of a hotel and all the services that come with it, organisers have teamed-up with the newly opened Hotel Olea.

The Rhapsody Festival in Croatia promises to be a great event, with its impressive line-up, entertainment value, Mediterranean charm and will undoubtedly become a permanent fixture on the circuit scene.
