The ever-stunning Ross Lynch plays this male counterpart in Troye’s new video and does a spectacular job at embodying the epitomical straight boy crush. What we weren’t prepared for was how breathtakingly gorgeous Troye was going to be in drag.
Talking to People, Troye discusses how this whole album is an exploration of sexual encounters following the end of his last serious relationship. One Of Your Girls takes an introspective look at the times Troye connected with straight, curious or closeted men.
“A lot of the boys that song is about, I feel like they probably would’ve bullied me in high school, and now here they are paying me attention,” he says. “So, at the sacrifice of my own self-worth, I’m throwing myself at them, and then you’re really just at their beck and call, and that can sometimes not feel so great.”
