As part of the Sydney WorldPride 2023 Festival, Pride & Joy Sydney are hosting three consecutive nights of partying – Neon Nite!, Military Manoeuvres and Shiny Disco Balls – all at the iconic LGBTQIA+ party venue, the Hordern Pavilion.
“Pride & Joy Sydney is about doing its part to keep larger-scale LGBTQIA+ dance party style events alive and to honour the significant role such events have played in our community’s historically,” says co-founder, Grant Lowe.
“It is also an opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance that coming together at such scale has to our visibility, our sense of belonging and ultimately as a vehicle for us to champion our chosen families.”

NEON NITE! SHINE BRILLIANTLY BRIGHT: MARCH 3
Pride & Joy’s three Sydney parties kick off on Friday, March 3 with Neon Nite! Look radiant in your brightest Neon gear and prepare yourself to dance through the night to the biggest and best sounds of your favourite uplifting, hands-in-the-air vocal house.
The DJs playing this event are Joelby, DJ GRIND, Toy Armada, NATE, from 10pm to 5am.
MILITARY MANOEUVRES: ORDERS HAVE BEEN ISSUED: MARCH 4
Who doesn’t love a man in uniform? Get your balls to the wall fellas and be present for a night of down and dirty beats with Mark Alsop and Drew G from 22:00hrs-05:00hrs. Regulation dress includes Military, Leather, Rubber, Fetish and Kink. This party deploys on Saturday, March 4.
SHINY DISCO BALLS – GET YOUR GROOVE ON: MARCH 5
Nothing but good vibes and good jives on this night! Pull on your best flares and dance the night away to the biggest disco hits and the club and pop tracks of today. This party kicks off from 7pm to 2am on Sunday, March 5 with beats supplied by Charlie Villas, ENN and Dirty Disco.
