Tom Daley Is Back On Tiktok With A Home Gym Workout Set To RuPaul
Tom Daley has a new home gym, and he wants you to use it with him. The retired Olympic diver posted a fresh workout clip to his TikTok account, @tomdaley, captioned simply Come Workout soundtracked to a RuPaul remix. It is exactly the kind of low-effort, high-charm content that made him a lockdown favourite five years ago.
From the diving board to the living room
Daley stepped away from competitive diving in August 2024, after winning silver at the Paris Olympics. That medal took his career haul to five across five Games, including the synchronised 10-metre platform gold from the Tokyo Olympics.
He went viral in Tokyo for knitting in the stands, turned that into a brand, and has built a second life online that has little to do with sport. These days he splits his time between that label and family life with his husband, filmmaker Dustin Lance Black, and their two sons.
The home workout is familiar ground for him. Back in 2020, when gyms were shut, Daley ran free TikTok Live sessions and raised money for the British Red Cross along the way.
The new clip, filmed on a Major Fitness setup, is a lighter take on the same idea. Press play, follow along, feel slightly guilty about your own week.
Why the internet keeps coming back
There is a reason Daley’s fitness posts travel. He makes the work look doable rather than punishing, and he has never taken the influencer act too seriously. The RuPaul needle-drop, Mother Of The House, tells you he is in on the joke. His 1.6 million TikTok followers reward that honesty.
If you have been meaning to move more and want a nudge from someone easy to watch, here it is. We will be doing the reps, badly, in solidarity.
