Grab your umbrellas, it’s Rainin’ Fellas! Todrick Hall’s latest music video is serving looks, lyrics and a whole lot of lust!

Todrick Hall released his music video for Rainin’ Fellas and it features an endless supply of scantily clad men, meticulous choreography and a catchy beat.

Hall released his latest album Femuline on the same day with 14 tracks written by the singer/songwriter and features contributions from famous friends such as Tyra Banks, Chaka Khan and TS Madison.

Hall made a name for himself by reaching the semi-finals of American Idol before producing content on YouTube. He has since had a recurring guest role on RuPaul’s Drag Race and performed on Broadway in Kinky Boots in the lead role of Lola.

The Rainin’ Fellas music video pays homages to many many great cultural touchstones from the gay community. It’s clearly inspired by The Weather Girls’ camp classic, It’s Raining Men and in one scene, Todrick appears in an enormous dress, many metres high, a nod to the 60-foot dress painted by Keith Haring as worn by Grace Jones in her 1986 I’m Not Perfect (But I’m Perfect For You) video.

Hall has created a beautifully curated music video with well-executed ideas that offer a feast for the senses. With over 16 different outfit changes (including stunning drag costumes) and multiple scene locations, this latest release teases what the album will serve in terms of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.
