There’s A GBoy On FBoy Island! Nathan Giastis Shakes Up Reality Show Going Undercover

Nathan Giastis in FBOY Island Australia (BINGE)

In a twist that left audiences buzzing, FBoy Island Australia made reality TV history. Nathan Giastis, the first gay man on a straight dating show, turned heads and stirred conversation.

This unexpected revelation was brought to light in the latest episode of the popular Binge series, hosted by Abbie Chatfield. Yahoo News gives us the scoop on how Nathan’s story unfolded.

The Elephant in the room

Nathan didn’t apply for the show. He was scouted on social media by the producers. “I would never see myself with a girl, but to be the elephant in the room and play some twists along the way, it’s an experience and a half,” Nathan shared with a laugh.

The women on the show got suspicious when they found Nathan’s TikTok account. It was filled with rainbow flags and hashtags that made them wonder. When confronted, Nathan initially claimed he was “100 percent straight”. But later, he came clean to Nicole Mitrov, admitting he was “a gay FBoy”.

“Life’s too short, have some fun!”

Instead of leaving the show, Nathan convinced Nicole to let him stay as a “mole”. His job? To help the women figure out who the real FBoys and Nice Guys were. Talk about a plot twist!

Nathan’s strategy was to keep a low profile. “The plan was just to be as low-key as possible because obviously I couldn’t really be my true self,” he explained. Despite being in an unusual situation, Nathan felt comfortable. “Everything was chill, so being in that scenario was good,” he added.

One burning question remained: why didn’t Nathan clean up his social media before the show? Apparently, there was some confusion. “Originally, I was told to remove some things from social media, but then leading up to going onto the show I was told, ‘Oh no don’t worry about it’,” Nathan revealed. When host Abbie walked in with the laptop for the social media stalk, Nathan’s “heart just sank”.

He hopes his presence on the show might lead to something meaningful. “If I could get the girls to find someone that potentially is a Nice Guy and then fall in love, walk off the show, and have them split the $25,000 each at the end, that would have been something more monumental to me than anything else,” he said.

As for what’s next? Nathan teases, “You’ve gotta stay tuned for the rest of the show, but what I can tell you is a lot of drama, a lot of twists, a lot of turns, and a lot more to come.”

This episode of FBoy Island Australia has certainly got people talking. It’s a refreshing twist that’s adding some much-needed diversity to reality TV.
