SEX MAGICK
Nicholas Brown delves into the themes of identity, masculinity and queerness in his live theatre performance Sex Magick. Co-producers Nicholas Brown and Declan Greene incorporate a medley of ancient Indian Kathakali dance theatre and live video to immerse the audience in the action and visuals.
Sex Magick follows Ard Panicker, a promising young physiotherapist, who suffers a series of unfortunate personal incidents that lead him to having a mysterious condition that causes his body to shake and convulse while having terrifying hallucinations. In a desperate attempt to rid himself of his convulsions, Ard embarks on a journey to discover hidden elements of who he is with the guidance of a tantric guru.
Sex Magick will be running at Sydney WorldPride from Friday, February 17 – Saturday, March 25. Tickets are available here.

BRIEFS
For over 10 years now, the Briefs boys have been bringing cabaret, comedy and circus to stages worldwide and this Sydney WorldPride they’ll deliver a night of intoxicating physicality, gob-smacking comedy, unapologetic truths, and ridiculous showmanship.
Briefs – Dirty Laundry is led by Fez Faanana (aka Shivanana) and will feature the classic Briefs boys as well as some shiny new boys and toys. Inspired by circus, drag, dance, burlesque, comedy, and the ever-changing world around them, Briefs promises an inclusive and immersive experience for all audiences.
Briefs – Dirty Laundry is running from Tuesday, February 28 – Saturday, March 4. Tickets are available here.

KING
Australian director/choreographer Shaun Parker teams up with Bulgarian-born vocalist Ivo Dimchev to create King. A music-dance collaboration set in a fantastical world that mirrors both an elite cocktail party and a jungle.
With nine spectacular dancers and high-intensity choreography, King interrogates power systems that oppress and hinder the natural development of male sexuality and identity in a biting, yet humorous theatrical experience. The central figure is depicted by a naked man as a way to comment on the male body as a commodity for anthropological observation.
King will run at Sydney WorldPride from Tuesday, February 28 – Saturday, March 4. Tickets are available here.
