On 31 December, Sydney Harbour will come alive as members of Australia’s LGBT+ community and friends from around the world gather for Celebration at the End of the Wharf – NYE 25/26.
It’s the only gay New Year’s Eve party held directly on Sydney Harbour, offering uninterrupted views of the fireworks, the Harbour Bridge and the city skyline as Sydney welcomes the New Year. This is a true front-row experience – no crowds, no scrambling for vantage points, just great music, premium drinks and a high-energy atmosphere in an iconic harbourside venue.
The soundtrack for the night is curated by DJ Mark Alsop (MA15+) and DJ Nate, delivering a stylish, groove-driven mix that sets the tone early and builds as the night unfolds. From relaxed cocktails and conversation through to late-night moments after midnight, the music will carry the celebration forward well into 2026. Steering the night with charm and just the right amount of cheek is the incomparable – and fabulously furry – Frock Hudson, bringing warmth, humour and personality as MC.
This year’s celebration is also a white party, with guests encouraged to step out in sharp white looks to mark a fresh start to the year ahead.
