Stanley Burton launched in July of 2021, and they stock a wide selection of reputable underwear brands boasting unique style and bold designs that are satisfyingly comfortable. Founded by Ed and Burton – a couple of gay Asians in Sydney who decided to fill the gap in the market that other LGBTQIA+ underwear stores fail to deliver by proactively empowering body positivity, cultural diversity and age inclusivity; they tirelessly spend time reaching out and talking with real people, engaging in important conversations which matter to our community.
Stanley Burton built the store from the ground up with people and the community in mind. They recently donated a years supply of underwear valued up to $840 to Thorne Harbour Health as part of their silent auction for their annual fundraiser; money raised goes towards the health and well being of Melbourne’s gay community including supporting those living with HIV and AIDS.
