Spanish Netflix Hunks Delight In Smiley and Élite
Turn on Netflix and set the language to Spanish these days, and you’re in for a world of gay fiction pleasure.
In addition to the Spanish same-sex romcom Smiley, there’s also Élite, which has announced its upcoming 7th season will be the final.

Carlos Cuevas (Netflix/Smiley)
The series, which has been running since 2018, is set in Las Encinas, a fictional elite private school and revolves around the relationships between three working-class students enrolled at the school through a scholarship program and their wealthy classmates.

There are some changes afoot in the final series, Queerty reports. Manu Ríos (Patrick) won’t feature, but rest assured his on-screen lover André Lamoglia (Ivan) will be back.

Also returning after a hiatus since season 5 is the striking Omar Ayuso and that inexplicably sexy monobrow. Brazilian pop star Anitta will also make a cameo.

Cast members Ayuso and Lamoglia have shared photos and video celebrating the final day of shooting marking the end of the show’s production, hinting that production of the final season is nearing an end at the Netflix studio in Madrid.
We can’t wait for the new series and will be sad to see the departure of such Spanish-speaking splendid gayness. In the meantime; hey Siri: binge watch Smiley.
