“Scott Kress Needs a Man” – The Messy Gay Dating Show On Tubi
Gay dating shows are rare, and good ones rarer. So here is some news: Scott Kress Needs A Man is a new reality series streaming free on Tubi, where nine hot bachelors compete for one TikTok star in a mansion, with plenty of mess along the way. It premiered on 16 July and drops new episodes weekly.
Who Is Scott Kress?
Scott Kress is a content creator with over 6.2 million TikTok followers, best known for funny videos about being single and fed up with modern dating. Eventually his friends got tired of the whining and did something about it.
Fellow creators Carter Kench, Asher Lieberman and Sydney Morgan built him a dating show on the fly, acting as co-hosts, producers and meddling confidants. Between them, the trio brings more than 35 million followers to the project.
Nine eligible men moved into the mansion to win Scott over. The show keeps joking about its low budget, but the casting director clearly spent the money where it counts. Early favourites include Max, a charmer who has slipped into the role of season narrator, and Braulio, a jock who wore a hockey jersey in the premiere to court the Heated Rivalry crowd. Then there is Javi, who you might recognise as the newest Pit Crew member on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The format moves fast. The first challenge is a run of one-on-one speed dates, with a contestant cut on the spot. By episode two, things get properly messy. Carter sends the men into a tug-of-war over a mud pit, so of course they strip to their swimwear, and the winners earn a make-out session with Scott.
Casting calls asked for “real people” after “real connection”, so half the fun is guessing who means it and who just wants screen time. Rivalries and crushes are already forming, and the episode ends on a double elimination. A teaser even hints that two of the guys got up to something after hours.

How to Watch
Scott Kress Needs A Man is streaming free on Tubi now, with new episodes every Thursday. The premiere leans a little scripted, and the show knows it, but the cast wins you over fast. Fans are already comparing it to Love Island, and it earns the comparison. Messy? Absolutely. That is the whole point. Have you picked your favourite bachelor yet? Ours is still up for grabs.
