Right-Wing Group Plans To Crash Disneyland Gay Day In Pathetic Stunt
A MAGA-themed protest is heading to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on February 28, 2026, coinciding with the park’s annual Gay Days gathering. The event, dubbed the “MAGA Invasion,” is organised by a Hollywood-adjacent group calling themselves the 805 Patriots.

The group announced the protest on November 19, inviting “like-minded patriots” to meet at the park and wear MAGA attire. Participants can even buy a custom T-shirt from the organisers that reads “Make Disney Great Again”. The 805 Patriots operate out of California’s Central Coast, named for its area code.
In a social media post, the organisers admitted they hadn’t realised their event overlapped with Gay Days. Instead of backing down, they described the timing as a bonus, claiming it would “make this even more fun.” A related post on the SoCal Patriots! Facebook group shared a clip of KTLA’s coverage with the caption: “Turns out I accidentally planned this for a GAY Day. Yall have to come, will be hilarious to ruin their day!”
Despite their original messaging about a “peaceful, family-oriented meetup” celebrating patriotism and traditional American values, other posts suggest a very different agenda. Members were encouraged to “trigger as many liberals as possible” and “make your voice heard.”
Social media reactions have been swift and mocking. Many called the protest misguided at best and aggressive at worst. One commenter said, “This is a FAFO moment, patriots. Dumb is a disease.” Another pointed out the irony of travelling 200 miles and paying $100 just to shout MAGA slogans at Disneyland, while someone else simply wrote, “Disney is a place for kids… let families enjoy it instead of spewing your stupid MAGA hate.”
The response online has labelled the event “pathetic,” highlighting the disconnect between the organisers’ claims and their stated intentions.
