Ricky Martin Announces The End Of His Marriage After Six Years With Jwan Yosef
Superstar Ricky Martin and artist Jwan Yosef have announced their divorce after six years of marriage. The couple expressed their love and gratitude for each other while emphasising their commitment to co-parenting their children, reports People.
A Mutual and Amicable Decision
Ricky Martin is the father of twin boys Matteo and Valentino Martin who were conceived through surrogacy in 2008 and together with Jwan Yosef the couple had Lucia Martin-Yosef and Renn Martin-Yosef. In their statement, the pair insist they remain devoted to their children and intend to co-parent in “a healthy family dynamic”.
“We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years,” they say.
“Our greatest desire now is to continue having a healthy family dynamic and a relationship centred on peace and friendship to continue the joint upbringing of our children, preserving the respect and love we have for each other.”
