“I’m a full time Head of Horticulture, and third generation gardener. Learning from each generation of my family from my Grandfather, to my father and then to me. Owing mostly to my mother, an avid gardener. I train frequently (3-5 times a week) and eat a healthy diet for exercising which is essential,” says Richard Read. “My job is physically demanding and rewarding in equal measure. Seeing plants and growing things was ingrained in me as a young person. Educating others in the importance of conservation is a passion.”
Photographer Nige Rorbach says, “Richard and I have worked together 3 times so far. We met via Instagram and he is an absolute star to work with. He’s someone I’ve built a really fantastic friendship with as well. He has one of the best attitudes on set and we just have a blast. Richard is inspiring, handsome, sexy as hell; what more could a photographer want from a model.”
