Macadamia nut oil is a game-changer in skincare and hair care. This nutrient-packed oil, known for its versatility, has deeply nourishing qualities. First Nations Australians prized the macadamia and cultivated the plants for thousands of years in the east-coast rainforests.
The macadamia and jojoba oils in our range deeply nourish and hydrate the skin and hair, while our blends with essential oils add uplifting fragrance options. The range also includes what we call the “naked” version, which is unscented.
Anti-Aging Powerhouse
Packed with antioxidants like squalene and vitamin E, macadamia oil fights free radicals and reduces oxidative stress on the skin. These antioxidants play a vital role in slowing down the aging process and minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The oil’s composition closely resembles human sebum, the skin’s natural oil, which decreases with age. The oil mimics sebum to provide deep and effective hydration and feels like a second skin.

Application
For the face and beard, warm three to five drops in the palm of your hand, then massage into the skin from the brow to the collarbone for a healthy glow and complexion.
For the hair, warm the oil in your hands first, then start by working the oil into the tips, then down to the roots and the scalp.
For the body, warm the oil, then apply as desired. It nourishes and hydrates the skin, making it perfect as a massage oil.

A Note On Sustainable Sourcing
The macadamia’s nutritional benefits and heritage are a source of great pride for those involved in the industry. Jindilli is one of several words used by Indigenous Australians for macadamias and it is from this term that our Byron Bay supplier forms their name, with their macadamia groves nestled in the east-coast hinterland where the Australian native rainforest tree originated.
