In theatre, we meet Dash Kruck, who plays a lonely, gay, Dolly Parton fan in Here You Come Again, the transformative Dolly-inspired musical. “A woman told me it changed her life,” he says. “I think of her before every show.” We also check out Born With Teeth, an intense imagined encounter between William Shakespeare and his rival, Christopher Marlowe. True queer trailblazing actor and musician Jim Verraros (American Idol, Eating Out, Another Gay Sequel) reveals he’s ready to duet with Troye Sivan (noted) and tells us all about his latest EP, Explicit! “The beauty of doing music at 42 is that I can do whatever I want… I have the freedom to be a lot edgier and sexier.” We also review new releases from Conan Gray (his excellent Wishbone), Patrick Wolf and Aaron Dinning.

Suicide, addiction and accidental drug overdoses are claiming the lives of gay, bi, trans and queer men at an alarming rate. A new organisation in the UK, You Are Loved, aims to help stop that, and support survivors. We speak to those helping establish this important initiative.
