Out Olympic Champion Eric Radford Joins “Dancing On Ice” 2025
Figure skating champion Eric Radford is taking his talents to British television. The Olympic gold medalist will join the professional skating team on ITV’s Dancing On Ice for its 17th series, starting January 2025.
“I’m extremely happy and excited to be a part of Dancing On Ice this season,” Radford tells Outsports. “It’s a big new adventure for me, and after the first couple weeks I’m loving it already. It’s my first time in London and now I know what all the fuss is about.”
Radford’s impressive career includes three Olympic medals. He helped Canada win silver in Sochi 2014 and gold in Pyeongchang 2018. With partner Meagan Duhamel, he also secured bronze in the 2018 pairs competition.
His achievements put him in an elite group of athletes who have won all three Olympic medal colours, joining swimming icon Ian Thorpe.
The two-time World Champion pairs skater came out publicly in 2014 through an article in Outsports. Now, he’ll partner with actor Charlie Brooks when Dancing On Ice starts in January 2025.
