That Full-frontal “Off Campus” Scene Was 100% Real, And So Are Its Hockey Hunks

Off Campus kicks the locker-room door open and shows you everything. The Prime Video adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s best-selling college romance novels has had viewers talking since it premiered on 13 May, and one scene in particular lit up the internet.

Yes, it was all real

The moment lands when Hannah, played by Ella Bright, storms a hockey locker room to confront her ex, team captain Garrett Graham, and walks into a room full of naked players. No prosthetics. No careful camera angles. Asked on the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat whether any of it was real, Bright didn’t blink. “Oh yeah. Oh yeah,” she said. The production had even put out a casting call for “people just willing to be full nude, come in.”

Meet the men of Briar University

So who are the hockey players pulling focus? Leading the pack is Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham, captain of the fictional Briar Hawks and the show’s clear breakout. Outlets have already singled him out as the heartthrob of the series, and the locker-room buzz hasn’t hurt.

Beside him is Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis, the team’s smooth-talking defenceman, and Antonio Cipriano as John Logan, a forward and Garrett’s best mate. Here’s the part book fans already know: Dean and Logan each anchor their own novel in Kennedy’s four-part series. If Prime Video keeps the franchise going, both men are due a season in the spotlight.

Why everyone’s watching

The cast knows exactly what kind of show this is. The male leads have happily compared their spicier scenes to those in the queer hockey hit Heated Rivalry, and the comparison holds. Both lean into the heat without apology. We’ve lost count of the hockey romances suddenly competing for our attention, and we’re not about to complain.

Off Campus is streaming now on Prime Video.
