“No I Be Sucking D*** For Real” – Says Omar Apollo When Accused Of Queerbaiting
Omar Apollo is among the hottest R&B artists of our time and he’s never shied away from allowing his sexuality to be public. Apollo has always been openly gay in the public sphere but, to fans who would accuse the singer of queerbaiting, he has one simple thing he wants to say, reports Instinct.
In a tweet responding to one fan, Omar Apollo says, “[SIC] No I b sucking dick fr.”
PUTTING RUMOURS (AND MEN) TO BED
Omar first appeared on the music industry’s radar in 2017 when he uploaded tracks to SoundCloud – his first Spotify upload Ugotme was a huge hit gaining more than 15 million streams on the platform. Recently, the artist became tied to rumours that he was dating Hip-Hop and R&B artist Frank Ocean.
Queerbaiting and speculation appears to be something that not even openly gay artists can escape with one Twitter user asking “are you in ur bi era?” to which Apollo simply responded saying, “dont do det”.
A different user says, “Is Omar Apollo another queerbaiting singer? like those type ‘I don’t label myself let me wear cropped and paint my nails and I say I find another guy hot’ cuz I like his song but I don’t like supporting straight men doing queerbating.”
For this tweet, Apollo had a stronger (cheekier) response saying he sucks “dick for real”. He goes a step further by adding “from the back” in a reply.
Well, that puts that to bed officially.
